About Nick

Nick Phillips is a Senior Associate in Northmarq’s Newport Beach, California office. Nick is dedicated to assisting investors in the acquisition and disposition of net lease assets nationwide. He specializes in net lease retail and industrial product nationally, having provided years of strategic advisory and sales services to private investors, developers and franchisees across the country.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Phillips served as an Associate Director at Stan Johnson Company. Before Stan Johnson Company, Phillips worked with Marcus & Millichap focused on building long-term relationships with investors, developers, and institutional groups in the net lease space. Before starting his career in commercial real estate, Phillips worked for the State of California as a firefighter, responding to emergencies and large-scale wildland fire incidents across the state. He has translated the firefighter values of dedication, integrity and collaboration to his career in real estate.

Phillips attended California Polytechnic State University, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
