About Melissa

Melissa Mayer is a Vice President based in Northmarq’s Houston office. With more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Mayer specializes in single-tenant financing for all property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, senior housing, and hospitality. She is well-connected with national, regional and local funding sources including agency lenders, commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds, and hard money lenders. Prior to Northmarq, Mayer served as Vice President for Four Pillars Capital Markets.

Mayer has held positions with Q10 KDHCO, Marcus & Millichap, and most recently as a Senior Associate, Loan Originator in NAI Partners’ Investment Sales Division in Houston. Mayer received her MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of St. Thomas as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She holds her Texas real estate salesperson license and is an active member of ICSC and MBA.
