About Mark

Mark Hellwig is a Vice President in Northmarq’s Chicago office and specializes in the disposition and acquisition of single-tenant and net lease properties throughout the United States. His team focuses on net lease retail, office and industrial transactions, with a strong presence in the GSA asset arena. Over the last 25 years as an investment property broker, Hellwig has completed more than 150 transactions valued in excess of $2.5 billion and has gained valuable experience in a wide range of assets. Prior to joining Northmarq, Hellwig served as a Director at Stan Johnson Company.

Hellwig previously served as a senior director with Marcus & Millichap (five years), a senior vice president with CBRE’s Investment Properties Group (seven years), and a senior associate in the Financial Services Group at Cushman & Wakefield (five years). In addition to his extensive experience in investment sales, Hellwig has also worked in commercial real estate as an attorney, a mortgage broker, a property manager and an analyst on Wall Street.
