John Heitmann is a Vice President in Northmarq's Chicago office, and he specializes in securing commercial debt for various property types. Heitmann has garnered a reputation for executing on highly complex financing structures and assignments. Before joining Northmarq, he was a Vice President with Four Pillars Capital Markets in Chicago, where he joined in 2022.

Prior to joining FPCM, Heitmann was a Vice President at Cadence Capital Partners before its acquisition by Matthews Real Estate Investments. Heitmann provided acquisition financing, bridge financing, construction financing, permanent debt, recapitalizations and subordinate financing. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Heitmann earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
